'Nowhere To Run' Story Code '68103' by Tommy Thompson

10th August 1968: Sam leaps into the body of Captain Ronald Miller, a legless Vietnam War veteran undergoing therapy at a hospital in San Diego. After befriending an attractive volunteer nurse named Kiki Wilson, Sam encounters Sergeant Billy Johnson, a fellow patient paralysed from the neck down by a sniper’s bullet. Al appears and tells Sam that Billy’s bitterness at his injuries will not only make him end his marriage, but he will drown himself in the hospital’s therapy pool sometime in the next two days. But as Sam tries to work out how a paralysed man is able to drown himself, he learns that Ron’s wife, Julie, has been having an affair, and she now wants a divorce…
